Welcome to Scunthorpe Young People’s Film Festival!

Welcome to the blog for the Scunthorpe Young People’s Film Festival (SYPFF), a place to keep up-to-date with filmmaking workshops, submissions and plans for the film festival itself.

The SYPFF is now into its fifth year and is for young people between the ages of 8 and 25 in North Lincolnshire to get involved in films; either by making their own, attending filmmaking workshops or by attending the festival next year.

Previous years’ entries have seen everything from documentaries through to computer animation! You can view some of these on SYPFF’s Youtube channel (please be aware that parental guidance is advised):

If you’re already making your own films and are interested in submitting for 2012′s SYPFF please find the entry form for submissions here. All films are welcome and will be sent to a judging panel who will decide on deserving winners of awards.
